I found this leaf in my backyard with a weird design on it. Now usually the bug eats an entire whole in the leaf, but this one must've been small, because it left the leaf intact

Hi, I'm a bug expert. this damage is caused by a category of bugs called Leafminer. look it up, they're pretty neat :)
