What is working is that the picture looks like a feline, and the fur texture looks very splendid. The head looks off though: try maybe moving the face of the cat more to the left, and probably would give a 3-D affect to a 2-D image such as this.

The textures and shapes are very well done. I would suggest making sure the eyes are straightened a little more in your sketch before shading it in.
