I enjoy how the photos background tilts the horizon line. It's simultaneously grounding the photo and adding interest. Insects tend not to be very personable, but even this picture could benefit from seeing the eyes of the creature. Unless there is a specific reason not to, capturing the eyes is usually a good idea.
