I see your going for a retro like tone with it and I did read it was natural light and not a filter that gives it the murky aspect to it. My advise is if you can get photoshop or GIMP, GIMP is free, than you may be able to learn how to keep the overall feel of the photo but refine the murky/blurry feel of it.
