Ohmygoodness, this is fantastic! The black background that sets it off so nicely looks like ink, but is the rest pencil? Regardless, you have my applause: pencil smudges so easily, and ink is an unforgiving medium, and yet you've made this incredibly lifelike! Please post the finished piece when you're done!
