You are pressing your pencil too hard onto the paper loosen your grip. Doing strokes with your pencil will create a much smoother line then keeping it down continuously. Hold your arm in that position and see if it feels natural (his elbow is behind his ear). Part from the face looking off balanced to the body you have done a decadent job.
