Wow I love how you decided to have clown as the victim of trauma it represents the ego on so many levels. After a truly traumatic incident the individual generally looses their identity and I believe the mask int this piece represents that. Also with the clown you've displayed their issues with fulfilling happiness and having a skewed perception of their own self worth, feeling as if they were a joke etc. The cuts are representing the deep wounds that are needed for healing and even the eyes have a spaced out and numbing quality to them. This is really quite well done! Thanks! :)
