Identity

Description:

Done for my GCSE coursework project on 'Own Identity'. The piece is mixed media, using clay, acrylic paints, photography and sewing to create it. The ribbons were sewn directly into the canvas, and there are small photographs in the background of the piece. The leaves on the left side are made from air drying clay. The whole piece is based around nature, in particular trees, and aspects of trees. Of course, the project being on identity meant that I explored my loves, and found that nature was hugely important in my life (I wont go into detail as its quite personal).
