fluffy skirt drapery on central figure, with little wrinkles at the rear hips are extra nice. What are the range-of motion implications of the oddly shaped gorget? or does it articulate in some way?

The proportions are not all that bad ... and the details and the shading is awesome. And the hair looks brilliant.
