1 hour isn't slow at all for pencil portrait drawings. Use better paper and spend more time on it :) looks great for spending only 1 hour on it

Believe me when I say it's much better then my first attempts of drawing portraits. It's not easy ... but it does get easier with time. Just keep at it and never stop.

It looks very good LuiLu, all you need to work on is the shading, the details are pretty good. You can get better at it if you practice more no matter how good or bad it looks.
