Try to keep the lines straight because it makes the drawing a-little jittery. The boy looks like he has an empty socket around his eyes, but if your doing old style eyes-try to not add light shading, but add a light source around it (think of button eyes). Either why's, nice job.

I would make various line thickness (thick for close objects and thin for objects in the distance) to make it more dimensional, but overall it's really cute concept :33
