Misunderstanding

This was the last classroom drawing that I did for my third year of college. We had a model in a cowboy costume in a scene with different antiques, bones and knick-knacks. From this installation, I created a whole story behind my drawing. I have always enjoyed creating hybrids with humans and animals, so I decided to get the cowboy a skeleton horse head. The story goes that a cowboy got into an argument with a posse of outlaws by accident and they ended up shooting him and his horse. The villagers buried the two side by side, but after many years the cowboys rose again and his skeleton had become mixed with the horse. So he had his horse's head instead of his own skull. @nicole_nebo
