Tine

Description:

The "Tine" is a historical monument in the center of my hometown. She never had been a real person, but she was a character in a story of a fishermans wife, waiting for her husband coming back from the north sea, but he lost his life in a storm tide. The monument is located in Husum center in front of the "Marienkirche" (church) and look to the WEST, in direction of the north sea. I drew her not as a monument but like a real person alive. Her model had been the young DORA FUCHS, in the year 1902...
