Description:
This is one of my assignments I had to do for my drawing class. This took FOREVER, I probably spent 15-20 hours on it (or more). The assignment was to draw from a photograph and I was able to draw a photo that the lovely photographer Lisa Van Dyke took. I am really pleased with how this turned out, it is graphite on an 18"X24" piece of paper. Of course it looks a little different in real life (the camera made it too dark in places).

Very good work! You have great understanding of value and texture. One thing you could work on is improving the horse's anatomy. The heads seem a little acute and their bodies on the chubby side. Other than that you did very well.
