shuvuuia deserti

Type: drawing Uploaded: 2014-12-07

Description:

a drawing made during school. yet another alvarezasaurid. this 60 cm( 2 feet) theropod is easily identifiable by its long legs, a pointed beak with tiny teeth, and tiny arms with reminiscent first and third fingers. being one of the few fossils of this family with the most complete and well perserved skull, shuvuuia may be the most well known alvarzasaurid out of them all. its, beak works very similarly to modern birds, and unlike other theropods, it can raise its top jaw, as well as its bottom jaw. just like modern birds
