Description:
A troodontid from the Late Cretaceous. Zanabazar could grow to a max length of up to 2.5 meters (8.2 ft) in length, among the largest of its family. It, like other Troodontids, was likely either a carnivore or an omnivore; taking small vertebrates, invertebrates, eggs, and some plant material. It's remains have been uncovered in Mongolia. It's genus name derives from the spiritual head of Tibetan Buddhism of the same name.
