Heron

Description:

I tried to draw this "green" heron by a beautiful referencephoto of Rodney Campbell (that you can see in the upper left corner). It is blue but It´s called green. I used colored pencils and odorless paint thinner to smooth the colors out. I don´t have a good opaque White pencil so I had to add some white acrylic with a brush for the highlights at the end. not to happy with that result, but it seem impossible to find a good opaque White pencil here in sweden. Guess I have to order it from USA or something. anyway, hope you like my drawing! just practicing photorealism.
